Who we work with

Built for Commercial Purchasing, Not Personal Shopping

We support overseas businesses that need more than a product link or a marketplace order. The service is designed for buyers who want supplier choice, commercial control, repeatable quality and a clear route from China purchasing to final delivery.

Importers & Wholesalers

Bulk orders, recurring inventory, multiple SKUs, supplier comparison and container-level purchasing programs.

Manufacturers & Industrial Buyers

Components, hardware, packaging, equipment, tooling and purchases based on an RFQ, BOM, drawing or model number.

Brands & Retail Groups

Private label, packaging, samples, production follow-up and repeat supply programs across one or more factories.

Project & Corporate Buyers

Furniture, materials, commercial equipment and multi-supplier projects requiring one China-side coordination point.

Best fit: bulk purchasing, recurring orders, OEM/ODM programs, cost-reduction projects and multi-supplier procurement. Individual consumer purchases are not the primary focus of this service.
Procurement cost control

Reduce Total Landed Cost, Not Just the Factory Quote

A low unit price can become expensive after tooling, packaging, defects, delays, domestic transport, freight and destination costs are included. We help buyers compare the commercial structure behind the quote.

Cost reduction is evaluated against product requirements and supply risk. VoltFreight does not promise an unsupported percentage before reviewing the product, quantity, current supplier position and destination.

  • Supplier choices remain visible before order placement.
  • Specifications and important commercial terms are confirmed in writing.
  • Samples, photos, reports or third-party checks can support approval.
  • Service, handling and logistics costs follow the agreed project scope.

Quality at source

Inspect What Matters Before Goods Leave China

A generic visual check is not enough for every product. The inspection plan should follow the buyer's specification, approved sample, packaging requirements and acceptance criteria.

Procurement to delivery

One China Control Point for Multiple Suppliers

When factories finish at different times, the China warehouse becomes the point where orders can be received, counted, measured, checked, repacked and prepared for one coordinated shipment. For planning details, see how to consolidate shipments from multiple suppliers in China.

China supply channels

Use the Right Source for Each Purchasing Project

Direct factories are important, but they are not the only valid source. The right channel depends on volume, customization, documentation, quality control and whether the purchase will repeat.

Marketplace listings are starting points, not automatic proof of manufacturing capability. Supplier status, specifications and commercial terms still need review.
DFDirect Factories

Best suited to higher volume, OEM/ODM, technical control and long-term supply relationships.

161688

Useful for domestic wholesale sourcing, price discovery and suppliers requiring Chinese-language purchasing support. US-bound buyers can review our guide to 1688 shipping to the USA.

ABAlibaba

Useful for export-oriented suppliers, samples, standard products and international buyer communication. Buyers comparing sellers can review our Alibaba supplier verification guide.

TPTaobao & Pinduoduo

May support samples, accessories, local retail purchases or market research; usually secondary to controlled commercial sourcing. For US delivery planning, see Taobao shipping to the USA.

EXExisting Suppliers

Keep your current factories and use VoltFreight for communication, receiving, QC, consolidation, export or shipping.

TFTrade Fairs & Industry Clusters

Relevant for category-specific supplier development, factory discovery and larger commercial purchasing programs.

Ways to work together

A Procurement Model That Fits the Project

A one-time sourcing request should not be priced or managed like a recurring multi-supplier program. The scope is defined after we understand the product, workload and delivery responsibility.

Project-based

New Supplier Search

For a product, RFQ, BOM or purchasing list that needs new China supply options.

  • Requirement review
  • Supplier search and shortlist
  • Quotation comparison
  • Sample and negotiation support
Execution support

Existing Supplier Control

For buyers who already selected suppliers but need reliable China-side follow-up and delivery.

  • Supplier communication
  • Receiving and cargo checks
  • Inspection coordination
  • Export and global logistics
How service cost is quoted Fees may be structured by project, purchasing scope or ongoing management workload. Product cost, China handling, inspection and international freight are separated according to the agreed quotation.

Frequently asked questions

China Sourcing & Procurement FAQ

What is the difference between a sourcing agent and a trading company?

A sourcing agent generally supports the buyer with supplier search, comparison and execution, while a trading company may purchase and resell goods under its own commercial transaction. The correct structure depends on payment, invoicing, export responsibility and whether supplier visibility is required. VoltFreight defines the project scope before purchasing begins.

Can VoltFreight handle larger commercial or industrial procurement?

Suitable bulk, recurring, multi-supplier and industrial projects can be reviewed. Technical purchases normally require an RFQ, BOM, drawing, model number, product specification and buyer-defined acceptance criteria. We do not make unsupported engineering or compliance assumptions on behalf of the buyer.

Do you only source from Alibaba or 1688?

No. Possible channels include direct factories, commercial suppliers, Alibaba, 1688, Taobao, Pinduoduo, trade fairs, industry clusters and suppliers already nominated by the buyer. The channel is selected according to product, quantity, quality requirements and purchasing structure.

Can you verify suppliers and inspect goods before shipment?

Supplier information review, factory visits, sample coordination and inspection can be arranged according to project risk and agreed scope. Inspection criteria should come from the product specification, approved sample and buyer requirements. Independent audits, laboratory testing and certification may require specialized third parties.

Can you manage several existing suppliers and combine their goods?

Yes, where the cargo and project structure allow it. Suppliers can send goods to the China warehouse for receiving, quantity checks, measurement, repacking, labeling or consolidation before one coordinated international shipment.

What information do you need to review a procurement project?

Send the product name or link, specification, drawing or BOM, required quantity, expected order frequency, target market, current supplier information if available, quality requirements, delivery deadline and destination country. Target price or current landed cost is helpful for cost-reduction work.
